Duplicate characters do not merge automatically: you may field multiple copies, or merge matching copies when you choose. BUY + MERGE does not require an empty wallet slot, so it remains available when your wallet is full. Three total copies = Level 2; six = Level 3.
Click a team card to select it before buying a Modifier. The selected copy is also your merge target: matching copies can be merged into it, preserving the selected copy's accumulated stats and Modifier. Use ← / → to position your formation. Freeze shop offers to keep them through rerolls and the next Market.
When a character levels up, Protocol Fork discovers three characters one tier above your current Market. Pick one to add as a frozen offer.
Press Confirm Block to resolve Market Close effects and auto-battle. Combat plays event-by-event so you can watch every attack, ability, PUMP, DUMP, MINT and KO resolve. Use Pause, Prev/Next Event, speed controls, or Skip to Result.
AI difficulty: Casual prioritizes readable boards, Standard drafts and positions for synergy, and Sweaty aggressively searches, pivots, merges and counter-builds. Every difficulty uses the same Gas, shop odds and combat rules — harder AI does not receive hidden stats or economy.
